The past year at Coussens has seen several additions to our fleet including the Klaas K1100 pictured above. This 3-axle crane has a maximum boom length of 61m, allowing an enormous reach for a crane this size! It also has a lightweight aluminium build, making it ideal for work where imposing as low pressures as possible on the ground is particularly important. You can take a look at its spec sheet here.

During 2022 we have supplied services for all manner of projects, including works for the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. We were privileged to supply lifting our Liebherr LTM1060-3.1 to erect Thomas Heatherwick’s Tree of Trees outside Buckingham Palace and to supplying lorries to transport the components to site, returning after the celebrations for the de-installation. A video of the construction process is available here.
