2012 Brighton Festival saw the appearance of a giant steel figure on the Brighton skyline.
Known as ‘Omni’, it plays the central role in the show ‘Waterlitz’, commissioned by the European Zone of Artistic Projects and performed by world renowned French theatrical company Generik Vapeur.
Coussens new Tadano Faun HK60 was used to construct Omni as part of a CPA contract lift. The same crane was also used as part of the Waterlitz show performances to lift items including a mini, a pterodactyl and an aeroplane.
The Waterlitz show is continuing on from Brighton to other venues around the UK, including the Nuffield Theatre, Southampton and the Winchester Hat Festival.
